Part-2 builds on Part-1 and focuses on complex cases and diverse conditions. It consists of 6 hours of case consultation (three 2-hour Group Sharing and Case Consultation (GSCC) sessions), followed by a workshop of 3 consecutive full days of didactic and supervised practice (lectures, demonstrations and supervised practice).
To receive the Certificate of Completion, you need to practise simple and complex cases for a while, and then participate in 6 hours of Advanced GSCC sessions to consolidate your knowledge. The Consolidation is booked and paid separately.
By completing the Consolidation, you have completed the full EMDR training. You will receive the Certificate of Completion and be registered in the Registry of EMDR Therapists of Hong Kong.
Eligibility
- You completed Part-1, or the Refresher course, not more than 3 years before Part-2.
- Since Part-1, you have treated at least 3 actual cases with EMDR within the 6 months before Part-2.
- You are an EMDRHK member when you apply, and your membership stays valid until the end of the workshop.
Pre Part-2 GSCC sessions – Winter 26/27
Choose any three sessions, in English or Cantonese. Each session lasts 2 hours and has limited places. In one of your sessions you present an actual case you treated with EMDR. All sessions are online (Zoom).
