The Refresher course is for EMDR therapists who have completed Part-1 of the EMDR Therapy Basic Training a few years ago, and wish to:
- Refresh and upgrade their EMDR skills, and/or
- Complete the full EMDR Therapy Basic Training and obtain a formal Certificate of Completion, and
- Be listed in the Registered EMDR Therapists of Hong Kong
This course offers the most updated theoretical and practical knowledge of EMDR. It includes also reflective methods and exploration of applying EMDR protocols in practice. Participants of the course will receive the most recent EMDR Manual and worksheets – ready to be used in their practices. After completing this Refresher Course and with a further EMDR therapy practice for a few months, you will qualify to proceed with Part-2 of the training.
The course will be conducted online by Prof Atara Sivan, a certified EMDR Institute (USA) Trainer. The course is scheduled for two Saturday mornings and will last for a total of 8 hours.
